There are minimal repaired defects allowed on the face. Minor defects such as splits, and knots are skilfully repaired with colour matched filler. The back face permits some open defects.

180-grit touch-sanded with minimal acrylic patching and up to 6 repaired splits* per edge not more than 10mm wide by 800mm long (fully repaired and sanded).

Back
180-grit touch-sanded allowing open defects including splits and knot holes up to 38mm (max. 4) and up unlimited knot holes <25mm diameter.

*Splits are characteristics that occur at the end of panels, running parallel to the grain and varying in acceptable width and length based on grade.
