Lumin supports ARCOIRIS childhood care center
Arcoiris - Early Childhood Care Center
This agreement is a significant milestone for LUMIN's Corporate Social Responsibility program, reflecting the project's extensive reach, substantial investment, and commitment to early childhood in the community. The OSTM union and government agencies also play a crucial role in this initiative.
The center is designed to serve up to 120 young children, (under the age of 3) and prioritizes early childhood development and rights. It features an educational program which is accessible to the children and grandchildren of LUMIN employees as well as children from the wider community. LUMIN provided the infrastructure for the installation and start-up of the center as well as initial equiptment. The company is also responsible for its maintenance. INAU's Care System manage the running costs of the service.

LUMIN installed the first "Centro Cerca" Cardiac Rehabilitation Center in the department of Tacuarembó, where multiple training sessions have been delivered with the support of the company.

LUMIN has supported multiple educational institutions by donating materials and technical support, such as the Technical Schools (UTU) in Tacuarembó and Melo, and the Technological and Educational Center of Tacuarembó, among others.
