It was an honour to be invited to speak at the Forum on Women’s Economic Empowerment Principles (WEPs) for Latin America and the Caribbean, hosted by UN Women and the Chamber of Commerce in Mexico.

This inspiring event brought together over 150 regional leaders, including representatives from UN Women authorities and the Mexican government to champion gender equality and women’s empowerment in the private sector.

LUMIN’s very own Mara Pisano, Human Resources Manager, took to the stage for a session on Shared Responsibility in Care Policies: A Sustainable Business Strategy. She shared insights on fostering inclusive workplaces and the importance of cross-sector collaboration and partnerships when it comes to promoting gender equality.

Mara also showcased our work with the Arcoiris Center, as a testament to shared responsibility and innovative care policies.
