This month we were proud to host a press event in Melo to share exciting updates on the construction of our third industrial plant and to officially launch LUMIN Crece, our new employment platform.

Led by HR Manager Mara Pisano Rodriguez, Project Manager Henry Amestoy, and Head of Marketing María José Mallot the session welcomed journalists from Cerro Largo for a closer look at the progress of this major project.

Construction milestones so far include: 90% completion of the groundwork and machinery foundations, 60% completion on boiler installation and progress on main warehouse, admin, and service buildings hitting the halfway point.

There are currently over 500 people working on-site, alongside 13 local suppliers including hardware stores, transport services, cleaning companies, concrete providers, and security firms who are supporting the build, further strengthening the project’s positive impact on the regional value chain.

We also officially launched LUMIN CRECE, our official job portal, as we’re getting ready to start recruitment for operational roles in late 2025.

This project reflects our continued investment in sustainable growth and regional development in Uruguay.
