Public Education Support Program
Public Education Support Program
An ANEP initiative, the Public Education Support Program partners with the private sector to fund substantial and innovative enhancements in public education. This program focuses on delivering targeted donations across five key areas, including Healthy Living and Inclusive Education, to foster diverse improvements in educational settings.
In 2018 LUMIN decided to be a part of the Public Education Support Program. This is how the project to build a multi-sport court in school #84 "La Matutina" (in the city of Tacuarembó) came to be. This initiative is related to Healthy Living and one of LUMIN's own pillars: "Supporting local communities"
The Public Education Support Program is carried out with guarantees regarding transparency, impact and visibility for each of its projects. In LUMIN's case, the project was presented based on its direct impact on the company's area of influence. This multi-sport court will have direct impact on aprox. 600 primary school students. 130 children and families will also enjoy the facilities indirectly.
From the very start, LUMIN has been a company committed to the local communities, and has aimed to support, promote and contribute to their growth through different means.
