LUMIN was honoured to sponsor the inaugural Uruforest trade-fair which took place in Colonia, Uruguay last week.

Unique for Uruguay, the event brought together the forestry, agriculture, and environmental industries, combining exhibitions, workshops, demonstrations and much more.

Our stand, built entirely using our TRP product for walls, flooring, and structure, showcased a range of furniture crafted from TRP BBCC and Hardwood BC highlighting the versatility of our sustainable plywood.

We also highlighted our 10-step production process, starting from the work carried out in our nurseries through to panel construction and distribution. It was a pleasure to welcome customers, suppliers, and the general public to our stand, who all showed great interest in our responsible forest management practices.

In addition, we exhibited products created by individuals in rehabilitation, a collaboration between LUMIN and the National Rehabilitation Institute. This initiative is part of our broader mission to promote socio-labour inclusion and make a positive impact on our community.
