Today, on Rural Workers' Day, we’re proud to share the story of Carla Soárez. Originally from Rivera, Carla has worked as a shepherd with LUMIN® for nearly seven years.

Her journey reflects commitment, resilience, and deep roots in the land. These are qualities shared by the many individuals who contribute to rural development every day.

At LUMIN, we recognise the vital role the agricultural sector plays in supporting the country’s social, environmental, and economic wellbeing. We are committed to championing equality across the sector and supporting the 221 shepherds who form part of our value chain; connecting production, community, and responsible forest management.
